The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process by which adults are formally received into the Roman Catholic Church.  

RCIA is a journey of faith where adults are introduced to the Church and is the process by which adults who were never baptized or were baptized in another Christian tradition or those who were baptized as Catholics and never received Confirmation or Eucharist complete their Sacraments of Initiation.
