Confirmation

At St. Mary’s Church, our Confirmation preparation is a two-year process for high school students. We start preparation in their Freshman year of high school and celebrate the sacrament in the Spring of their Sophomore year. Each candidate for Confirmation,

• Registers for our Confirmation program in June-August of each year
• Attends a Confirmation retreat in their freshman year
• Completes 10 hours of community service a year
• Completes a monthly mass reflection (October-March)
• Attends 10 Confirmation meetings in their first year and 15 in their second year
