Funeral Planning

On behalf of St. Mary's Community  we extend our condolences on your loss.  The purpose of these pages is to help you and your family plan your loved one's Funeral Mass.  At St. Mary's we believe that the readings and music at the Mass can help to give a personal touch to the service, allowing the Mass to reflect and celebrate the life of your loved one and their journey home to God. 

Reading and Eulogy Planning
Your Presider will go discuss the details of the Mass with you, including the readings, eulogies and prayers of the faithful. The Liturgical Guidelines for Funerals can be found Here.  This form is to be filled out after you have met with your presider.  You can either discuss these choices directly with the priest or review and submit the form to choose the Readings and details of your ceremony.  Please contact the Friar who will be presiding with any questions at 973-835-0374.  

Music Planning
Our church accompanist, Carrie Stewart coordinates the music for all of our Funerals and Memorial services.
