Nazareth Farms is simply a once in a lifetime. In West Virginia, students will learn all about what it means to “live simple”. We will be living in community with kids from other parishes all over the East coast. The service most replicates “Habitat for Humanity”, which if you are not familiar with, is essentially home repair. Between roofing, siding, painting, staining, our group will be working under the close supervision of leaders of the farm as we assist the West Virginia community in home repair. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. We have sent people who have never touched a hammer, nail, paint brush, you name it, and they all came back with ten toes and fingers. The trip is unique as it is nestled in area where there is no cell service, and while that is scary initially, by the end, you won’t even want your phone back. This trip has always been the staple of our service trips, and I hope you consider going.
