Service Opportunities

For the health and safety of residents and volunteers,
all volunteers must show proof of  vaccination upon registration. 
Please email vaccination card and any questions to ngeorge@stmarys-pompton.org or
drop off vaccination record at the Parish Office attention to Nicole George.  
 

1. Barnett House
52 Lenox Ave. Pompton Lakes, NJ 
 Saturday 12/18 - 2pm-3:30pm
 6 youth volunteers /2 adult chaperones.
Barnet House is a large two story, Catholic Charities group home in Pompton Lakes.  Barnet House "provides help and creates hope" for 7 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Youth volunteers and residents will make crafts, play games and hang out. 

 2.  Phoenix Center Rehabilitation and Pediatrics
1433 Ringwood Ave. Haskell, NJ 
All volunteers must be fully vaccinated and will be given a rapid covid test upon entering the facility.
Sunday 12/19 2-4pm
Visit with senior residents to engage in conversation and make a Christmas craft.
12 volunteers needed /4 adult chaperones



3. Volunteer at Eva's Village
Monday, February 21, 2022
10-2PM
10 volunteers requested 
must be 15 years or older to attend
Adult volunteer needed
 Volunteers will be packing to-go meals. You will be packing portions of protein,
starch, and vegetables into containers, and may be wrapping and adding desserts or side dishes.




4. Volunteer to spend time with the residents of Fitzpatrick House.

Fitzpatrick House is a ranch style Catholic Charities group home in Pompton Lakes.   Fitzpatrick House provides help and creates hope for 5 men with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 

Youth volunteers and residents will make crafts, play games and hang out.
